two days ago,still in university waiting for classes to start,the buzz of yet another political assassination took hold of the entire campus...all directed to the student lounge,packed like sardines in front of the tv announcing the unfortunate news,we did not even stir in shock...it was the same bullshit all over again...the 15th or 16th (i cant really keep count) planned car bomb killing yet another great lebanese fighting for justice,political independance,and freedom of press as well as expression...and,yes... the blame was put on syria,but no investigations proved any of the assassinations were indeed of syria's doing for no investigations were conducted in either one of the 15/16 killings...and yes,syrian forces have left our soil earlier in the year,but have left this invisible big brother eye on lebanon that continues to oppress us and hence kill us...i am not in rage against syria, or its people,but its fucked up leaders...what they do not know is that we will not fall back into division but unite under these tragic circumstances and fight to have justice served for the butchering syrian leaders and those corrupt lebanese who have helped them achieve these horrible acts of violence...we have indeed had enough,but rage must not turn into revenge but into achieving justice and in turn peace...
